This is my Blotched tiger salamander (Ambystoma mavortium melanostictum)found in Fall 2006. My mom's cousin Lynn and her husband Merv found this specimen swiming in the swiming pool in their backyard after they shut it down. The water level was low and the chlorine had dissipated. One September day Lynn was outiside when she saw a black thing dart across the pool. It took her three days to catch it using a bucket and a net. She thought that I would like it so she gave it to me. Where could it have come from? The neighbours?Sunday, August 3, 2008
